On September 22, Lumpinee Boxing Stadium played host to a thrilling Asia primetime card on a truly massive night for martial arts.

The co-main event saw local hero Seksan Or Kwanmuang earn his sixth straight victory in ONE Friday Fights, as he took home a hard-fought decision win over Amir Naseri in their 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai clash.

Elbows were the four-time Muay Thai World Champion’s weapon of choice over the course of nine ferocious minutes.

And while Naseri showed incredible heart in fearlessly exchanging and landing big strikes of his own, “The Man Who Yields To No One” kept his foot on the gas pedal, suffocating his foe with constant pressure and ruthless elbows.

That relentless aggression earned Seksan the judges’ nod and improved his career record 199-74.

Muangthai Tops Yodlekpet In Three-Round Barnburner

After a pair of meetings outside ONE, decorated Muay Thai World Champions “Elbow Zombie” Muangthai PK Saenchai and “The Destroyer” Yodlekpet Or Atchariya went shot for shot in an incredible 138-pound catchweight contest.

Muangthai controlled most of the opening stanza with his long-range weapons, but “The Destroyer” found a way through in round two and nailed his rival with crunching punches and elbows.

Bloodied but not broken, “Elbow Zombie” fired back in the final frame, changing tactics to charge in with heavy knees. However, Yodlekpet was undeterred and found a home for more slicing elbows in reply.

It was close after nine hard-fought minutes, but Muangthai’s late surge helped him to a unanimous decision win and extended his record to 204-44 – and a 3-0 mark against “The Destroyer.”

Kulabdam Blasts Past Harrison In One Round

Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai reminded everyone inside the revered stadium, including dance partner Tyson Harrison, why he carries the nickname “Left Meteorite.”

The 24-year-old went full throttle from the start of this bantamweight Muay Thai war, cracking the Australian’s defense with vicious left hands and every possible combination within his arsenal.

By the end of the first round, it was clear that Harrison had taken one too many hits from the former Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion. With an athlete’s safety a top priority, the doctors at ringside deemed “John Wayne Noi” unable to continue.

The first-round stoppage improved Kulabdam’s record to 68-18.

Prajanchai Shines In ONE Kickboxing Debut Against Hamidi

In strawweight kickboxing action, current ONE Interim Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai kick-started his quest for a second belt against three-time ISKA Kickboxing World Champion Akram Hamidi.

Hamidi showed no fear in exchanging with the decorated Thai, but it was Prajanchai who threw and landed more strikes, beautifully mixing together his punches with thunderous knees and massive kicks.

In the end, a second-round knockdown of the Algerian proved more than enough to secure the unanimous decision victory for the 28-year-old striker.

The win improved Prajanchai’s incredible career slate to 341-52 and established him as a serious threat in ONE’s strawweight kickboxing ranks.

Trindade Blitzes Sibmuen To Score Early Knockout

Miguel “El Unico” Trindade rushed straight out of the blocks in his 147-pound catchweight Muay Thai battle against Sibmuen Coach Nay.

The Portuguese debutant backed the former Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion into the corner and dropped him with a left hook-right knee combination inside the first 15 seconds.

Sibmuen got back to his feet and fought bravely to get back into the match until “El Unico” forced him into the corner again.

Trindade then unleashed a volley of punches and knees on the Thai striker, eventually finishing him with a left hook to the body that announced his presence in the organization and improved his record to 13-1.

Suakim Stuns Ashouri With First-Round KO

After falling short in his promotional debut, Suakim Sor Jor Thongprajin showed he’s here to stay with a crushing first-round knockout of Saman Ashouri.

The PK Saenchai Muaythaigym athlete initially played second fiddle when this 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai duel got underway, but when he turned up the heat, the highlight-reel finish came in a blink of an eye.

With his back against the ropes, Suakim ducked out of Ashouri’s big right and countered with a horizontal elbow that forced the Iranian onto wobbly feet. Sensing blood in the water, the Thai put the icing on the cake with a straight-hook combination.

The thrilling win upped Suakim’s overall slate to 149-59.

Songchainoi Scores Second-Round Stoppage Of Jomhod

Songchainoi Kiatsongrit earned his third consecutive knockout with a dominant performance against Jomhod Auto MuayThai in their 116-pound catchweight Muay Thai showdown.

The 23-year-old displayed superior punching power throughout the contest, blasting his foe with massive counters early and often. Songchainoi then turned up the aggression in the second frame with a fearless boxing attack to score three straight knockdowns in less than a minute.

The knockout came 54 seconds into the round and improved the Thai sensation’s overall record to 54-18 and 4-0 in ONE Championship.

Wei Drops Petchartchai Early En Route To Decision Win

“The Great Sage” Wei Ziqin fended off a strong resurgence from Petchartchai Fight Geek Muaythai to take the hard-fought victory in their 127-pound catchweight Muay Thai battle.

Wei bludgeoned his Thai rival with accurate punches and knees in round one, sending Petchartchai to the canvas with a stiff left to assert his dominance.

The Fight Geek Muaythai representative showed his courage to roar back in round two. He waded in with his hands and blitzed the Chinese athlete for three minutes to prove he was still in the running.

However, “The Great Sage” held on and scored with sharp elbows and knees in the third frame, leaving Petchartchai battered and bruised from the onslaught. This damage earned Wei the unanimous decision and pushed his overall record to 27-3.

Shinechagtga Takes Split Decision Over Chen

Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg’s early knockdown and resolute display helped him overcome “The Ghost” Chen Rui in their bantamweight MMA war.

The Mongolian star dropped his rival with a piercing right hand in the opening round and survived everything that came in his direction on the canvas and the feet.

Both men came out of their corners searching for a killer blow in the second and third stanzas, but neither could string anything significant together.

After 15 minutes of action, two of three judges scoring at ringside gave Shinechagtga the nod, handing the Zorky MMA affiliate his seventh career victory.

Adiwang Blasts Through Mattheis In Under 30 Seconds

Lito “Thunder Kid” Adiwang kicked off the card in spectacular style in his strawweight MMA clash against Adrian “Papua Badboy” Mattheis.

After 18 months out of action due to injury, the Filipino sensation showed no signs of ring rust. He immediately blitzed his Indonesian foe, landing a thunderous right hand in the opening seconds that put Mattheis on the canvas.

A flurry of ruthless strikes followed, finishing the contest at just 23 seconds of action.

With the stunning TKO, the former top-five strawweight MMA contender improved his career record to 14-5 and once again looks to be a key player in the division.
